We looked at the newest version upgrade to see how they have improved their product to better protect its users' PC hardware and personal information. Agnitum has improved their security product by adding a technology called SmartDecision, which is their tool for providing active security. They have also added USB virus protection to help prevent malware from spreading via a USB device such as a thumb drive, camera or external hard drive. The newest version of Outpost also includes improved application protection, accurate antimalware identification and content filtering.

Like most security software, Outpost includes elements to protect your private information or files from being shared, your inbox from being inundated with spam and your system settings from being manipulated. We found their support search tool accurate enough to help us find the information we were looking for, and they post a complete user manual.
