BitDefender is a high-ranking product that has passed numerous third-party tests. However, PC Security Shield has not continued to evolve and improve like BitDefender.

We looked for AV-Test, AV Comparatives, West Coast Labs, VB100 and ICSA scores and certifications for this software. They have not recently passed any of these third-party tests. They also do not relate on their website earning any of these awards or certifications. Our assumption is that they were relying on BitDefender's positive test scores to help add credibility to their software.

PC Security also provides 24/7 toll-free telephone support. We contacted them via an online form and did not receive a response. They relate on their website that they respond to emails within 24 hours; however, that was not our experience with them. We cannot with confidence relate that they offer timely direct support responses.
