Trend Micro Internet Security Pro sits comfortably toward the top of our list due to the vast amount of solid features it offers; all around, it is a standout Premium Internet Security Suite.
We found Trend Micro to be one of the easier programs to use, as well as one of the most effective. It did a great job of preventing malware from infecting our system, and an even better job of alerting us to existing malware living in our computer. We were able to set it up to do routine and custom scans, in addition to requesting that specific types of malware be looked for.
We were also very impressed with Trend Micro’s customer and technical support. Although you should have no trouble using this program, we're confident you'll be well taken care of.
Antivirus and antispyware protection are imperative for a good Premium Security Suite, and Trend Micro didn’t skimp. This software will alert you of suspected spyware and files that have already been infected by malware. It also keeps a constant eye on the internet to ensure nothing gets past the firewall. You can set the system to do custom or scheduled scans, and even ask it to search for specific threats.
A good firewall will keep malware and hackers out of your computer, while still allowing a steady flow of information in and out of your PC. We were very impressed with Trend Micro’s firewall which did a good job of keeping intruders out and our private information safe. We were also able to set the security level at which we desired our firewall to operate. We found the Medium level to be the best. It does not restrict the flow of information, but continues to keep your system safe.
